How does Nodalview create 360° panoramas?

Single panoramas (photospheres) are created from individual pictures taken with your smartphone via a dedicated application.

The package you received from Nodalview contains a tripod (optionnal), a special Nodalview wide-angle lens, and a “Nodal Arm” that will ensure that the nodal point of your camera’s lens is exactly positionned on the vertical rotation axis of the tripod. This will avoid parallax errors, rather common in 360° panoramas.

Nodalview works best with a wi-fi or 3G/4G connexion, but can also be used offline : in that case, the assembling of the images (stitching) is delayed until an internet connexion is available.
